Artichoke Heart

Inside this my many petaled shell,
Of thick green sharpspiked defense
From foulweather and unwelcome invaders,
Lays sheltered soft purple fuzz
Of Loves flower blooming,
Down deep in the dark
Of my Artichoke heart.

Heya thanks for the link I'll check it out,you may have noticed i am having a hard time getting any decent painting photos ,it seems to be quite a skill , funny though my cheap old digi camera took better art shots than this flash as new one does!

I have that trouble too, and it seems that the better the painting the worse the photo. That frustration and some others have me in the smithy a lot these days, but the weather is turning foul so I may be doing more indoor work.
